Enjoy an unforgettable Wine county stay at Crouch Ridge Estate. Whether your soaking up some fresh air with a walk around the vineyard or enjoying a bespoke private Vineyard tour, wine tasting or Sparkling afternoon tea. We have exclusive packages like no other.

The converted holiday accommodation was originally part of the Dairy which was rebuilt in 2005 into six self-catering, two-bedroom cottages; each accommodating 4 people comfortably with modern open planned kitchen, diner and lounge areas to relax in, with stunning views overlooking the Vineyard and the River Crouch.

A short 2-minute walk takes you through the Vineyard to the wine barn where you can enjoy brunch, freshly prepared lunch, daily specials, cake and afternoon tea paired with the Estate wines.

Once you have taken in the beauty of the Vineyard, you can explore the local area. The River Crouch is a haven for wildlife, where you can stroll along the sea wall, watching sailing boats from Burnham and wildfowl and wading birds that live on the salt marsh and river.
Nearby local town Burnham on Crouch can be reached either by car, train or a walk along the sea wall from Althorne Marina, it offers a variety of boutique shops and pubs.  Whilst in Burnham you can take the ferry to travel to the RSPB nature reserve at Wallasea Island, and enjoy watching the seals sunbathing on the banks.
The historic market town of Maldon a short drive away has several interesting features including restored London Barges, quaint cafes, local shops, traditional pubs and taprooms as well as lovely walks along the River Blackwater

"Unexpected gem"

Unexpected gem while exploring Essex. Quality wines and we were lucky to get a tour with some samples. Sparkling wine comparative to well known wines like Cava or even Champagne
